Downtown Salt Lake City is growing at an unprecedented rate. As a result, there is a growing demand for new multifamily projects to keep up with the growth. Big-D Construction recently completed an eight-story, mixed-use residential building to help keep up with the demand.
The Morton Apartments will replace a surface parking lot just a mile from Utah’s State Capitol Building. The 120,000 square-foot project consists of 137 residential units and 1,400 square feet of retail space. The project includes a two-story parking structure that has 100 parking stalls. The units are a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments.
