The USU IT Services Building project is a new three-story office built to consolidate campus IT functions and house space for the entire USU IT department, as well as a component of the Academic &amp; Instructional Services (AIS) Department. The new building is a two-level structure with a full basement and includes office space and support areas, conference rooms, the customer service help desk, and equipment storage, repair, assembly spaces for all units of the IT department, as well as offices, storage, and workshops for the Classroom, Technology, and Media Production group for AIS. The project scope included sitework the consisted of ADA access sidewalks, new landscaping and a tie-in to existing parking lot. Project challenges included a small project site, construction on an active academic campus and within an existing parking lot.

The Juniper Building is the first structure at the new SLCC Herriman Campus. This project includes a three-story instructional building and Central Utility Plant (CUP), along with associated utility and sitework. Big-D self-performed the concrete work, including underground tunneling connecting the CUP to the Juniper Building.
The main Juniper Building features classrooms, core support spaces, a bookstore, break rooms, conference rooms, offices, restrooms/locker rooms, a student dining hall, and a lounge on the first floor. The second floor includes more classrooms, computer labs, study rooms, a meditation room, testing center, and tutoring rooms. The third floor offers additional classrooms, restrooms, and an exterior deck. The7,236-sf CUP houses boiler and chiller rooms, offices, a meeting room, tool room, restrooms, and utility storage.
