The Utah steel metal building division of Nucor Building Systems serves Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. With only four full-service manufacturing plants nationwide, Nucor’s new Engineered Building Systems Manufacturing Plant in Brigham City, Utah, is a critical business asset. Nucor chose Big-D to construct it.

Simms Fishing Products is a company that develops the world’s premier technical fishing apparel, footwear, and equipment. When the company relocated its headquarters in Bozeman, Montana in 2012, it engaged JLF Architects and Big-D Construction to design and build a facility that would speak to the company’s brand as the “icon” in the fishing industry. Simms encourages its customer base to visit their headquarters, so incorporating a brand narrative into the design was essential.
