This was the idea behind the remodel of this Jackson, Wyoming home located along Indian Springs Drive. No stranger to building Indian Springs homes, Big-D Signature collaborated with JLF architects to remodel this traditional log-style mountain home, which was completed in two phases. To celebrate the old and welcome the new, the entirety of this 10,375-square-foot, 3-level home, which features an attached garage and upper-level living area, was remodeled in a contemporary design while maintaining the bones and character of an authentic mountain home.

Combining the timeless with the modern often gives you the best of both worlds.

As part of the first phase of the project, Big-D Signature made myriad structural changes to remodel and contemporize the home. The home’s log columns were traded out for modern steel columns, while the entire interior of the home was media blasted and whitewashed for a clean, contemporary look. Big-D Signature also installed new windows, doors, and finishes throughout the home, as well as a curved operable window wall, a bonderized roof, and architectural steel. For the second phase of the project, Big-D Signature performed extensive landscaping and hardscaping of the property.

As if by some brand of mountain magic hailing from deep within forest reaches, this Jackson, Wyoming home was transformed from its humble, yet treasured past into a fresh, modernized mountain haven that reflects the crisp renewal of breathing in fresh mountain air during a tranquil summer in the Tetons.

Old Boots, New Dirt

The main floor features an elegant indoor/outdoor rustic dining experience, including an expansive outdoor patio with a bar and stunning views of the golf course itself and surrounding mountain ranges. The upper level houses six exquisite residential condominiums. The condos offer a unique, luxurious twist on mountain living by combining contemporary designs and grand wooden accents. The lower level of the Golf Clubhouse includes a pro shop and storage area for golf course equipment.

The Yellowstone Club Golf Clubhouse is a three-story, 24,000 square-foot, mixed-use clubhouse for members and their guests.

Yellowstone Club is a 15,200–acre private residential club, ski resort, and golf resort located in Big Sky, MT. During the winter months, the Club includes more than 100 runs and 2,900 skiable acres on what is touted as “Private Powder.” In the summertime, the members have exclusive access to an 18-hole, Tom Weiskopf-designed mountain golf course.
