60 Park is a new, six-story, Class A, multi-tenant office building located in the Park Avenue mixed-use development in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City. Big-D was responsible for demolition of an existing building and construction of the core and shell. 60 Park features a modern aesthetic, upgraded finishes, efficient and flexible floor layouts, a fitness facility with locker rooms, and secure bike storage. The building includes sustainable design elements and efficient systems including a rainscreen exterior wall system, high efficiency glazing, low-flow water fixtures, electronically managed LED lighting systems designed to fully utilize natural daylight, and mechanical systems that utilize a combination of natural ventilation, evaporative cooling, and traditional chillers.

Big-D Construction was the CM/GC contractor for multiple projects at Thanksgiving Park, a Class A, multi-tenant office complex. Buildings 2 and 3 are nearly identical, five-story, high-end office buildings sited on 7-acre sites. The core-and-shell finished interior areas include varying size tenant spaces, lobbies with electronic kiosks, fitness center, restrooms, corridors and stairwells, and elevators. Both buildings feature vaulted ceilings and high-end finishes like granite wainscot, granite base boards, mahogany wall panels, decorative patterned granite floor tiles, and faux Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete columns.

Thanksgiving Park Office Complex I &amp; II

The buildings are LEED Silver certified, featuring high-efficiency lighting and HVAC system equipment, underground detention ponds which collect water for landscaping, showers and exercise facilities that promote alternative transportation, white roofs that reduce cooling costs, and large windows that bring in natural light and showcase spectacular views.
