Project Description
The Uintah Basin Medical Center Emergency Room Expansion included a remodel of the existing emergency room of approximately 8,000 square feet and an addition to the existing Emergency Department of approximately 3,500 square feet. The expansion project for Uintah Basin Medical Center also included adding a basement and a new emergency room entrance. The entrance of the Emergency Department is outlined with a new canopy. The project design focused on making the expansion energy efficient. The work took place at the Uintah Basin Medical Center in Roosevelt, UT.
In 2015, the Uintah Basin Medical Center Emergency Room Expansion was awarded “Best of 2015 Small Healthcare Project” by Utah Construction and Design Magazine (UC&D). The architect for the project was TSA Architects.
