Project Description
The South America Pavillion at the Tracy Aviary houses brightly colored birds of nearly a dozen different species. The technology built into this pavilion is the first of its kind—it enables the aviary to double the number of hatching eggs on the premises.
Big-D helped with this phase of the project and built new indoor and outdoor exhibits focusing on the birds and habitat of Mexico and Panama. A new bird show amphitheater, related bird holding facilities, and infrastructure upgrades ensure the safety of the animals and a great experience for visitors. We constructed 4,670 square feet of buildings, but we also performed extensive site work.
This new project came on the heels of Tracy Aviary Phase 2B, which Big-D also completed.
