Project Description
The Pleasant Grove Public Safety Building is a historic project for the community of Pleasant Grove, Utah. Once complete, the building was the community’s first ground-up fire station in more than 100 years. Big-D crews started work in the fall of 2017 with the demolition of three buildings: the old Community Center/Recreation Center; the old Fire Station and Community Development Building; and the old Seminary Building. The official groundbreaking was held in December of 2017.
The new Pleasant Grove Public Safety Complex is comprised of two separate buildings totaling more than 50,000 square feet. The complex consists of the following:
- A 22,920 square-foot Fire Station
- A 27,135 square-foot building that will house the police department, courts, and a community center
