In 1961, South Davis Community Hospital opened as a nonprofit acute care community hospital in Northern Utah. After a large renovation project in the 70s, the facility now serves more than 2,000 individuals and their families each year at its Bountiful campus.
To better serve its patients, South Davis Community Hospital renovated its facility. The project included the construction of a new exterior “shed” for the Boiler Room and Medical Gas Storage. Big-D also performed infrastructure and utility upgrades. In addition, 33 skilled-nursing patient rooms were converted to 33 acute care patient rooms.
Big-D had to perform the renovations without causing disruptions to patient care. The project took just 5 months to complete.
