The first step on the road to recovery is the road itself.
The first step on the road to recovery is the road itself. That’s why Big-D Construction started this project by realigning and reshaping the existing roadway into Ashley Regional Medical Center. The new road was designed to reveal an inviting and picturesque view of the completed addition. Big-D also constructed a new parking area adjacent to the Ashley Regional Medical Center and relocated the helipad adjacent to the new Emergency Room.
Phase I included a 18,000-square-foot facility containing a 9-bed emergency department (including 2 trauma rooms), an isolation room, an OB room, a pediatric room, a 4-bed intensive care unit and an operating room designed for larger orthopedic cases.
Phase II of this project involved renovating the 10,575-square-foot radiology department and upgrading the existing 4,702-square-foot obstetrics area. Rooms were enlarged to facilitate patient ease and comfort, as well as to accommodate the latest technology in multiple imaging services. One additional birthing suite was built beside five private post-partum rooms. The completed women’s center combines a comfortable atmosphere with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and technology.
Ashley Regional Medical Center is located in Vernal, Utah.
