The Utah State Veterans Nursing Home consists of 42 resident rooms providing 81 beds for some of Utah’s aging and disabled veterans.

Project Description

Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, this 43,410-square-foot assisted living center includes a skilled nursing facility that focuses on the residents’ quality of life. The entry corridor’s vaulted ceilings provide a panoramic view to the terraces and patios which are surrounded by streams and extensive landscaping. A major consideration was to provide a non-intimidating interior that is comfortable to the aging patient.

Even with massive amounts of owner-generated change orders, this project came in on-time due to the dedication and hard work of the project team. The owners wrote detailed letters of commendation conveying their satisfaction for an outstanding job.

The Utah State Veterans Nursing Home consists of 42 resident rooms providing 81 beds for some of Utah’s aging and disabled veterans. Skilled nursing care and physician-performed health care services available to residents include general medical, dental, rehabilitation and physical therapy, diagnostic x-ray, long-term care, hospice, dementia behavioral health programs and Alzheimer’s care.
