Project Description

Woodbury Corporation, one of Utah’s oldest and largest commercial real estate firms, found itself in need of commercial real estate for its own business. The company needed an updated office space with parking on Wakara Way, so it turned to Big-D to build a three-story core-and-shell office building and perform associated site work.

An existing structure partially occupied the site Woodbury had chosen, so we performed a partial demolition to make room for the new building. After the existing tenant was relocated to a temporary facility, we demolished the remainder of the existing building.

The new facility has a 60-stall, concrete parking structure on the ground level; the building has two stories of tenant space above. The footprint for each level is a little less than 30,000 square feet. The skin is primarily glass and metal panel with brick. Big-D self-performed all the building and retaining wall concrete.

With this updated office and parking space, Woodbury can continue to find its clients the best real estate options available—many of which, we hope, will be built by Big-D as well.
